Ruth Ortega

Ruth Félix Ortega is a biotechnologist with a passion for continuous learning and exploring new things. She has a strong background in the food & beverages industry, particularly in research, development, and procurement.

Ruth holds an Engineer's Degree in Biotechnology from Tecnológico de Monterrey, where she excelled with a GPA of 9.4. She also obtained a Biotechnology Certificate from Victoria University.

Her professional experience includes roles at PepsiCo, where she served as the Global Procurement Sr Buyer Commodities and the Sr Buyer Global Procurement Direct Ingredients. Prior to that, she worked in various capacities at Nestlé Nespresso SA, Victoria University in Australia, and Rancho el Acicate in research, development, and sales.
