    Ruth Crick is a transdisciplinary practitioner and academic with a focus on self-directed learning and purpose-led change for individuals, teams, and organizations. She is known for her innovative work in analytics for evolutionary learning and self-leadership to drive sustainable change and community resilience in complex socio-technical systems. Ruth is the key originator of the Learning Power self-assessment tool and the Learning Journey Platform. She currently serves as the Director of Jearni Sciences Community Interest Company.

    Ruth's educational journey includes studying A levels in Music, English, and History at Folkestone Technical High School for Girls and obtaining advanced degrees including a PhD, MA, MEd, Cert Ed in Learning Leadership and Policy in Education from the University of Bristol.

    Throughout her career, Ruth Crick has held various leadership positions in esteemed organizations. She is the Director of Jearni Sciences CIC and has previously served as the Director of Learning Emergence Community Futures, Professor of Learning Analytics and Engineering Leadership at University of Bristol, Professor of Learning Analytics and Educational Leadership at University of Technology Sydney, Senior Partner at Learning Emergence LLP, Research Consultant at ViTaL Partnerships, Reader in Systems Learning and Leadership at University of Bristol, and Headteacher at Oak Hill School.
