Originally from England and currently based in Santa Cruz, California, Ruth is a citizen of both America and Britain.

Her educational achievements include a Master of Science Degree in Counselling with a focus on creative arts therapies from Brunel University London, and a BA (Honours) degree in English Literature from Royal Holloway, University of London.

Ruth's expertise spans various fields including music, writing, acting, consulting, coaching, and research, making her a versatile professional.

As the host of It's A Question Of Balance®, Ruth explores the unity of humanity through engaging conversations with a wide range of guests from the arts and the community.

She is a published writer, a trained actress, a certified culture transformation tools consultant, and a member of prestigious organizations like the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and the International Association of Women in Radio and Television.

Ruth has also worked as a business copywriter, conducted clinical research on the impact of creative arts in business, and provided counseling services to children and adults.

Additionally, she is a Traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher with a regular meditation practice.
