Rusty Mitchell

Rusty Mitchell is the Vice President of Design at Mercury Intermedia, a company based in Nashville, Tennessee, specializing in application strategy, design, and development for iOS, Android, and connected devices. He has over 25 years of design experience, having transitioned from roles as an art director and music packaging designer to focusing on interface design. His leadership at Mercury involves guiding a team of designers in product strategy and design while also engaging in business planning and direction.1

Under his direction, Mercury Intermedia has worked with notable brands such as TED, Panasonic, USA Today, The New York Times, and CNN. The applications he has designed have reached millions of users and have received recognition from prestigious awards like the Webby Awards and Communication Arts.
