Sr. Service Design Strategist
Russell Flench is a professional with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in service design, design research, and innovation.
He completed his BFA in Photography at the Cleveland Institute of Art, followed by studies in Sustainable Product Design at Parsons School of Design and a Master of Design in Systems, Research, and Service Design at the IIT Institute of Design.
With a strong academic foundation, Russell has held various key roles in different organizations, including his current position as a Senior Service Design Strategist at Bixal.
Prior to his current role, he served as a Service Designer in the Strategy Office at the Cleveland Clinic and held positions as a Senior Design Researcher and Strategist at Saint-Gobain, among others.
His past experiences also include roles such as a Designer at Conifer Research, a Design Researcher at Steelcase's WorkSpace Futures, and a Design Intern at The Office of PlayLab, Inc.
Russell Flench's professional journey also involved owning a business in home remodeling and contracting, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and versatile skillset.
