Russ Johnston

Russ Johnston is a highly accomplished professional with a remarkable educational background and a wealth of experience in finance, investment banking, and business management. With a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University - The Max M. Fisher College of Business, Russ has equipped himself with a solid foundation in the field.

Russ has held various positions throughout his career, showcasing his expertise and skills. Currently serving as Vice President at RiverWest Partners, LLC, he plays a key role in the company's operations and decision-making processes. Prior to this, Russ founded Torchpass Management and gained valuable experience as an MBA Summer Intern at VRI.

During his time as an MBA Candidate at Kellogg School of Management, Russ had the opportunity to broaden his knowledge and network with industry professionals. He also had the privilege of serving as a Board Observer at Penn Foster, further expanding his understanding of organizational governance.

Earlier in his career, Russ made significant contributions in investment banking as an Associate at The Vistria Group and as an Investment Banking Analyst at William Blair & Company. Before venturing into the finance sector, Russ gained valuable experience in auditing at Ernst & Young.

Russ is known for his passion for education and has shared his knowledge as an Accounting Teaching Assistant at Fisher College of Business. He also showcased his leadership skills as an Orientation Leader at The Ohio State University.
