Rushay Booysen

Rushay Booysen is a versatile professional with an impressive educational and professional background in marketing management and organizing creative productions. He is accomplished in relationship building, networking, education, guiding, strategist, marketing, photojournalism, and internet technologies. Over the years, Rushay Booysen has collaborated with artists to promote art and education, facilitate open debates among students, educators, and artists on a wide range of issues affecting youth movements. His work has been featured in a host of documentaries, exhibitions, media, and educational institutions globally. He is the co-founder of True Sight Music, an indie-based music imprint based in Port Elizabeth, who has partnered with education and human rights NGOs to bring attention to social issues.

Through his endeavors, Rushay Booysen has connected visiting Fulbright scholars and local artists to collaborate on various projects like documentaries, thesis work, and debates around issues affecting youth movements. Rushay Booysen is also a keen photojournalist whose work has been featured on CNN's Ireport, in a digital library in Barcelona, and the African-American art & culture center in San Francisco. During his career, he has worked as a strategist at Sosac, regional manager at Africasgateway, co-host at Bay FM, and online editor at Northern Areas History and Heritage Project, to name a few.
