Runing Guan is a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a dual degree in Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics and Business. His passion lies in designing, manufacturing, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Education-wise, Runing has studied Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE), Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics at the University of Pennsylvania, Bachelor of Science (BS) in Economics at The Wharton School, and at the Jerome Fisher M&T Program. He graduated Cum Laude with Highest Honors from The Stony Brook School, completed Engineering Summer Academy in Robotics at UPenn, Pre-Collegiate Studies in Computer Simulations and Interactive Media at Stanford University, and Applied Science & Engineering at Yale Young Global Scholars among other educational achievements.
Runing Guan has been actively involved in various organizations and roles. He has served as a Visiting Researcher at Caltech, Research Assistant at Modular Robotics Lab (GRASP Lab), Mechanical Team Member at Penn Electric Racing, Founding Member of the Jet Propulsion Team at Penn Aerospace Club, Aircraft Mechanical Engineer also at Penn Aerospace Club, Founder & CEO at 20/20 Aerial Solutions, and as a Volunteer at Caltech.
