Rune Lien has over 20 years of expertise in designing and verifying hydraulic systems, with a focus on subsea production and drilling/work over systems.

He possesses a broad spectrum of experiences in areas such as subsea control systems, drilling systems, active heave compensating systems, and subsea operations.

Rune's educational background includes studies in Machinery, Vocational Didactics in Technical and Industrial Production, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Throughout his career, Rune has held various positions in prestigious organizations such as Statens vegvesen, MacGregor, Agito Technical Dynamics, Fagskolen Tinius Olsen, FMC Kongsberg Subsea, A/S Hydranor, and FMC Technologies.

His roles have ranged from Senior Engineer and Lead System Engineer to CEO, Partner, Lecturer, EVP Product Development, CTO, Service Engineer, Managing Director, Technical Manager, Senior Project Engineer, and Design Engineer/Group Leader.
