Rubin Chheda

Rubin Chheda is a seasoned professional with approximately 18 years of experience in the India private credit space, mid-market private equity, and transaction advisory.

Currently, Rubin is a part of the founding team at True North Private Credit, bringing a wealth of expertise to the role.

Previously, Rubin held key positions where he demonstrated his proficiency in areas such as performing credit, turnaround and special situations investing, growth private equity, and complex deal execution.

Rubin has an extensive background in managing and investing significant capital across various sectors including auto-components, logistics, packaging, building materials, general manufacturing, and chemicals in the Indian corporate landscape.

His educational achievements include studying CPA, Accounting and Finance at CPA (Certified Public Accountant), USA, Commerce and Accounting at Poddar College of Commerce, an MBA in Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago, and clearing all 3 levels at the CFA Institute.

In terms of professional experience, Rubin has held leadership roles at organizations such as True North Co, Piramal Capital, Fairwinds Private Equity, Ernst & Young, PwC, and GE Capital.

His skill set includes portfolio and risk management, credit underwriting, credit appraisal, corporate relationships, and a deep understanding of Indian corporates and the credit, distribution, and regulatory landscape in India.
