Roxanne Stockwell is an accomplished professional with over two decades of leadership experience in higher and professional education. She has a diverse background that combines commercial experience in FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, an award-winning doctorate, and extensive knowledge of innovative approaches to education, including new business models, experiential learning, and ed-tech. Her passion lies in exploring ways for academics and employers to work together to benefit students, universities, employers, and society at large. She is the Vice President for Higher Education Awards in the UK, and she previously served as the Principal at Pearson College London. Her educational background includes studies in Law, Theatre Studies, Government, Indonesian, Speech and Drama, and Teaching English as a Second Language, among others. She earned a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Higher Education Management, which earned her the Outstanding Doctoral Research Award from Emerald/EFMD in 2020 and the Mawditt DBA prize in 2019 from the University of Bath.
