Roxanne Krystalli
Roxanne Krystalli is a highly experienced researcher, practitioner, and advocate in gender and armed conflict. She has worked with victims of sexual violence, refugees, and internally displaced persons in various countries, including Egypt, Uganda, Colombia, Guatemala, Sudan, and Mexico. Roxanne focuses her research on patterns of violence in mass atrocities and victim-centered transitional justice with a particular emphasis on gender and other dimensions of power. She is the recipient of various awards like a Social Science Research Council Fellow, P.E.O. International Peace Scholar, and Presidential Award for Citizenship and Service. Roxanne is currently completing her PhD in the Politics of victimhood in armed conflict and transitions from violence at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She is also a member of the Steering Committee of Lean Research, which studies the ethics and practicalities of research in violent or vulnerable areas. Roxanne's latest project is a study on the financial journeys of refugees in Jordan, Turkey, Greece, and Denmark.
