Ross LaJeunesse

Ross LaJeunesse is a seasoned technology policy expert and government affairs professional who has held several high-profile positions in the tech industry. He currently serves as the VP of Global Public Policy at Discord, a position he assumed in 2023.346

Prior to joining Discord, LaJeunesse was the VP of Public Policy and Advocacy at Etsy from 2021 to 2023.3 During his tenure at Etsy, he played a crucial role in expanding the company's reach and supporting artisans and small businesses. In May 2022, he was instrumental in signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Etsy and the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation (NEHHDC) to support small sellers, weavers, and artisans from Northeast India by providing them with market access and enablement support.17

LaJeunesse's career also includes a stint as Global Head of International Relations for Google, where he oversaw efforts to promote and defend a free and open Internet.5 His experience in the tech industry is extensive, having worked with major players in the field.
