As the founder of Go Figure, I have led the development of innovative formats, campaigns, concepts, and productions for esteemed broadcasters and brands. Our specialization spans across television productions, documentaries, cross-media platforms, and the seamless execution of impactful campaigns and video productions. At Go Figure, our unwavering dedication is to deliver unparalleled quality video content to our esteemed clientele, a commitment that I take great pride in upholding.

Founder

As the Director of Fiction, my primary role encompassed the strategic management and coordination of the fiction division, both domestically and internationally . My objective was to curate a diverse selection of high-quality content that would enable the NPO to deliver compelling fiction across its linear, on-demand, and online platforms. Collaborating closely with the programming team, I actively monitored consumer preferences and trends to curate a content catalog that aligned with our programming strategy.

Furthermore, I served as a key liaison for broadcasters and producers, offering support and guidance in the development of program proposals to ensure alignment with our strategic vision. By providing valuable insights and expertise, I facilitated the creation of content that resonated with our target audience and enhanced our overall content offering.

Director of Fiction

As the Senior Editor in Chief at BLX, I led the editorial team in managing productions for Paramount channels, including Paramount, Spike, MTV, Comedy Central, and Nickelodeon. My role involved representing the production team in daily communications and collaborations with internal stakeholders, focusing on brand alignment across marketing, PR, and content departments. I was responsible for organizing pitches for Paramount channels and offering guidance on new shows, formats, and adaptations as necessary.

Additionally, I oversaw external shows for Paramount, serving as the Editor in Chief and ensuring editorial coordination from both a channel and target audience perspective. I specialized in Paramount brands within the content field, providing expertise to enhance the quality and relevance of the content produced.

During my tenure at Talpa Network, my primary role involved conceptualizing and establishing new formats at an editorial level for TV538 and Gierige Gasten. Additionally, I was entrusted with the responsibility of driving commercial growth for the channels under my purview.

Key responsibilities included overseeing the creative direction, formulating strategic initiatives, and spearheading commercial endeavors for the designated channels. I held accountability as a budget holder and played a pivotal role in scouting and nurturing presentation talent within the organization.

In my role at the MCN/Videoland department, I spearheaded strategic initiatives focused on the conceptualization and implementation of new formats at an editorial level. In addition to driving creative innovation, I was tasked with spearheading the commercial growth of the assigned channels.

In this capacity, my key responsibilities encompassed providing creative direction, developing strategic initiatives, and leading commercial operations for the designated channels. As a manager overseeing budgets, I was accountable for financial management and played a pivotal role in talent scouting and development within the organization.

As the driving force behind the development of a digital after-school platform for youth, I curated and delivered engaging content sourced from various NPO networks. This comprehensive platform encompassed a TV program, a YouTube channel, and a blog to cater to the diverse interests of young audiences.

Key responsibilities included overseeing editorial management, executing multi-camera directing, forging strategic partnerships, and spearheading content production to ensure a dynamic and enriching viewing experience for the target audience.

Sr. Editor in Chief 'Club Hub'

As Senoir editor in Chief of the 101.TV Network at BNN, I managed a diverse content portfolio where approximately 25% was created in-house by a team of talented young creators. I had the privilege of nurturing and mentoring these individuals to help them evolve into seasoned professionals within the TV industry. The remaining content was sourced through external production companies or acquisitions.

My primary responsibilities included serving as the editorial manager, leading negotiations, managing production partnerships, and spearheading the development of innovative formats to ensure the network's continued success and growth.

The Next MC is a hip-hop talent show that aired on BNN. In my role as editor-in-chief, I was responsible for driving the creation and production of this innovative format. Notably, the show was among the pioneering cross-media productions in the Netherlands, setting a new standard in content delivery. The format achieved significant success, amassing over 3,000,000 digital views.

Key responsibilities included leading format development, overseeing all editorial content, managing production aspects, handling casting, and directing A&R efforts to ensure the show's overall success and impact.

In my capacity as Executive Producer at OHM, I have orchestrated the production and direction of multiple shows focused on cultural and socially relevant themes. These special edition shows delved deep into specific subjects like religion and politics, providing insightful perspectives on these critical topics.

Key responsibilities included leading format development, directing, serving as editor-in-chief, and overseeing casting to ensure the creation of engaging and thought-provoking content that resonated with the audience.

Executive Producer

In 2009, I launched a video internet series titled 'Weggepest'. This unique concept pitted professional football players against Dutch hip-hop stars in intense Pro Evolution Soccer matches. I played a dual role as the creators and the director of the show. Within a few weeks of its release, the website garnered over 500,000 unique views.

The show featured prominent personalities such as Gregory van der Wiel, Ryan Babel, Vurnon Anita, Leroy Fer, R.Kay, Dio, Önder Dogan (Murda Turk), and Keizer.

WEGGEPEST TV

Executive Producer/Director

101Barz is the premier independent hip-hop YouTube channel in the Netherlands. Established in 2008, the program has been a cornerstone of the hip-hop scene for over 12 years, garnering multiple prestigious media awards, including the Beeld & Geluid award for best multimedia concept.

In my role as Senior Editor in Chief, I led the editorial direction of 101Barz, overseeing content creation, artist scouting, and campaign development. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in cultivating partnerships and producing innovative formats that have contributed to the channel's success and recognition in the industry.
