Rose Pignataro

Dr. Rose Pignataro is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with extensive experience in various clinical settings like wound management, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and acute care.

She holds a PhD in Public Health Sciences from West Virginia University, specializing in areas such as social and behavioral theory, patient education, prevention, and health promotion. Rose is also a Certified Wound Specialist through the American Academy of Wound Management.

Her educational background includes a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University, a Master of Science in Health Science Education from Stony Brook University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Hunter College.

Throughout her career, Dr. Pignataro has held positions such as Assistant Chair and Associate Professor at Emory and Henry College, Co-Owner of Activate Health & Wellness, Associate Professor and Program Director of Physical Therapy at AdventHealth University, and Assistant Professor at various institutions including Florida Gulf Coast University and the University of South Florida.

She has also served in roles like Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education at Stony Brook University, Physical Therapist at Stony Brook University Medical Center, and Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University.
