Rory King

Rory King is the Information Governance Lead at the East Midlands Imaging Network (EMRAD). He has a substantial background in information governance, having previously served as the Head of Information Governance at Nottingham University Hospitals for over 11 years, from April 2011 to April 2022.23 In his current role at EMRAD, he focuses on ensuring compliance with information governance standards and managing records effectively within the imaging network, which facilitates the sharing of diagnostic images across NHS hospitals in the East Midlands.

King's expertise in information governance is critical to EMRAD's mission of improving the quality and safety of patient services through effective data management and collaboration among healthcare providers.13 His leadership contributes to the network's initiatives aimed at addressing staffing and recruitment challenges in radiology, as well as exploring innovative solutions like artificial intelligence to enhance service delivery.1
