Roopak Shah

Roopak Shah is an accomplished Investment Banking professional with over a decade of expertise in capital raising and M&A activities.

With a strong track record of structuring customized financial solutions across various industries including energy, communications, infrastructure, manufacturing, and consumer goods, Roopak has worked extensively on complex hybrid securities, convertible preferred stocks, debt instruments, mezzanine financing, and common stock.

His experience spans working with a diverse set of institutional investors such as private equity firms, venture capitalists, sovereign wealth funds, insurance and pension funds, as well as family offices.

Roopak Shah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Florida.

He currently serves as the Vice President of Investment Banking (M&A & Private Placements) at CohnReznick Capital. Prior to this role, Roopak held positions as Senior Associate at CohnReznick Capital, Associate at Lazard in the Private Placement Group, and at Raymond James Financial Inc. in both the Private Placement Group and Debt Origination & Restructuring divisions.

Earlier in his career, Roopak also worked at General Electric as an Associate in the Corporate Audit Staff and as an Analyst in the Financial Management Program (FMP).
