Ronnie Tan

Ronnie Tan is a Chinese-Muslim entrepreneur who embraced Islam at the age of 17 and has a diverse background in business ventures.

Over the years, Ronnie transitioned from running a corporate gifts business to successfully establishing himself in the telecommunications solutions sector, catering to major corporate clients.

In 2012, he ventured into the halal industry and became the Director of the MyOutlets group of companies in Singapore, specializing in halal food, beverages, and consumer products.

With a solid track record in the halal sector, Ronnie aims to become a global leader in the industry by creating a connected marketplace to serve the halal community worldwide.

Ronnie actively participates in international forums and conferences, sharing his insights and experiences in the halal industry and has been featured in global media and interviews.

He has had the honor of hosting esteemed guests like the President of Singapore, ministers, foreign dignitaries, and representatives from various organizations in the region.

Recognized for his entrepreneurial achievements, Ronnie was a finalist for the Entrepreneur Award by The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and MyOutlets was also a finalist for the OCBC Emerging Enterprise in 2017.

In 2018, he served as the Chairman of The School Advisory Committee of Guangyang Secondary School and was acknowledged as one of the most viewed Founders on LinkedIn in Singapore for 2017.

Ronnie's expertise led him to be headhunted as the Vice President of Operations at HAO mart Pte Ltd in September 2018, where he spearheaded the establishment of HAO Halal Hub, a full Halal Supermarket.

His educational background includes studies in Industrial Technical Certification and Mechanical Engineering at the Singapore Technical Institute, along with his schooling at Holy Innocents High School.
