Ronaldo da Silva Pereira Junior is a seasoned executive with 20 years of national and international experience across sales, finance, marketing, and general management roles.

His career spans 9 years in the financial sector and 13 years in the optical industry, where he showcased remarkable leadership and business acumen.

As the co-founder and former CEO of General Optical (G.O.), Ronaldo developed the start-up into the second largest optical group in Brazil by 2009, expanding its reach to over 30 countries and introducing successful brands like Ana Hickmann and collaborating with global brands such as Mercedes Benz, Gianfranco Ferre, and Cartier.

Since 2009, Ronaldo has been the CEO of Oticas Carol, where he revamped the business model to focus on franchising, introduced pioneering technologies through the Digital Lab, and oversaw a substantial growth in the number of stores from 170 to 950 until 2016, leading to the acquisition of the company by prominent private equities.

Ronaldo is an active member of the Young President Organization (YPO) since 2011 and currently serves as the Chapter Chair Paulista. He also holds board positions in Abiótica, CNA, Binario Group, and Marisol, alongside being a member of IDV and an Institutional Director of ABF (Brazilian Franchising Association).

His impressive educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Entrepreneurship from Fundação Getulio Vargas, various executive programs and seminars from prestigious institutions like Harvard Business School, and degrees in Business Administration and Engineering.
