Dr. Ronald Sanders is a distinguished public servant with over 45 years of experience in leadership roles within various government agencies in the US and internationally.
As a noted public management thought leader and innovator, Dr. Sanders is a Fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) and has held senior leadership positions across government, private sector, and academia.
He holds a Doctorate in Public Administration from The George Washington University, a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida, and a Master's degree from the University of Utah.
Dr. Sanders has authored four books and numerous articles, and has taught at esteemed institutions such as Syracuse University's Maxwell School, the George Washington University, and the Brookings Institution.
His extensive career includes roles such as Staff Director at Cyber Florida, Chair of the Federal Salary Council at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton, and Associate Director of National Intelligence/Chief Human Capital Officer at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
Additionally, he has served as an Associate Director for Human Resource Policy at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, Chief Human Resources Officer at the Internal Revenue Service, and in various other key positions in public leadership and administration.
Dr. Sanders' background also encompasses academic roles as the Director of the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership at The George Washington University, Director at the Center for Advanced Public Management at Syracuse University, and Director of Civilian Personnel at the US Department of Defense.
