Ronald Galiza

Ronald Galiza is a highly experienced professional in the field of transport modelling, specializing in VISSIM, AIMSUN, SIDRA, LinSig, EMME, VisWalk, and Massmotion at the micro and mesoscopic levels.

Having earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering as well as a Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Transport) from the University of the Philippines, Ronald furthered his education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transport Engineering at The University of Queensland.

With a rich and diverse work history, Ronald has held key roles such as Senior Transport Modeller at Aurecon, Traffic Engineer at Arup, Transport Engineer at Arcadis, and Congestion Reduction Officer at Brisbane City Council.

In addition to industry roles, Ronald has also been involved in academia, serving as both a Graduate Teaching Assistant and an Assistant Professor at The University of Queensland, as well as holding positions such as Research Assistant, Researcher, and Teaching Assistant.

His expertise extends to various facets of transport engineering, including concept design, preliminary analysis, options analysis, business cases, traffic impact assessment, and traffic engineering studies, catering to the needs of public and private stakeholders.
