National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) - Disaster Medical Assistant Team in Denton Texas. (DMAT-TX4)NDMS combines Federal and non-Federal medical resources into a unified response to meet natural and man-made disaster needs, as well as support patient treatment requirements from military contingencies.  DMAT -TX4 - is a team of paramedics, nurses, respiratory techs, security, logistics, communications and physicians. We all work together and make huge problems into small ones, very quickly. Superstorm Sandy - Our team worked at Brookdale Hospital and took care of 2 floors of chaos. A team went to a college and maintained health of a ton of people that were homeless.Build a hospital on a soccer field for Long Beach Island, and we were the emergency hospital for over 20,000 people due to the local hospital was flooded. I am blessed to work with a bunch of people that are dedicated to help others. It's an amazing thing.
