Ron Ferlazzo

Ron Ferlazzo is a seasoned leader, coach, and people manager with extensive expertise in securities, finance, and corporate law. He has a unique perspective derived from actively participating in solving complex financial system issues in the country.

His specialties include corporate and capital markets transactions, securitization, structured finance, securities law, real estate finance, portfolio acquisitions and dispositions, secured lending, insurance, private equity investment, housing, and procurement.

Ron Ferlazzo studied at Chaminade High School for his high school education, pursued a Bachelor of Science in International Relations at the United States Military Academy at West Point, completed a Leadership Fellow program in Corporate Counsel Leadership and Management at the ACC National Capital Region Leadership Academy, and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) from The George Washington University Law School.

His professional experience includes roles such as Managing Associate General Counsel for Multifamily and Legal Analysts in Mortgage Securities at Freddie Mac, Associate General Counsel in the Mortgage Securities Department of the Legal Division at Freddie Mac, Senior Counsel at the US Department of the Treasury - Office of Financial Stability (TARP), Senior Attorney at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, Summer Associate/Law Clerk at Sallie Mae, Manager at Capital One Financial Corporation, and Officer (Armor Branch) in the US Army.
