Research project aiming to improve the life of seniors living at home by using sound-based AI to detect anomalies. Advanced all the way to working prototype. 

Single-handedly created an end-to-end solution covering:

- Low cost edge device (non-wearable) for real-time fall detection and response 
- State-of-the-art Deep Learning model to classify fall events, and domestic activities from spectrogram representation of audio 
- Edge AI inference (no sensitive data transferred to the cloud) 
- Unique dataset of simulated falls, collected using a lifelike jointed 165 lb. rescue manikin with human weight distribution 
- Cloud portal to manage notifications, and see past fall detection events

Put a pin on the research project due to capital intensive nature of advancing a hardware-enabled product commercially, and conducting thorough medical trials

Founding Engineer (1st hire)

- Built a real-time cloud-based decision engine for the Lending business at Marcus by Goldman Sachs
- Developed algorithms to evaluate the performance of credit portfolios under ad hoc scenarios and forecast the capital charges associated with new transactions
- Designed and implemented statistical models to identify opportunities to reduce capital charges based on bespoke portfolio characteristics.
- Lead a team of BI developers responsible for designing and implementing analytical dashboards to enable real-time risk management of multi-billion dollar portfolios

Goldman Sachs

Senior Data Scientist & Engineer

- Built full-stack applications to calculate, and report credit exposure across a variety of portfolios of our major clients
- Developed Montecarlo-based simulation algorithms to stress-test financial institutions' ability to navigate financial downturns

Senior Software Engineer

- Responsible for the ETL development and data modeling of a large scale data warehouse
- Designed and implemented anomaly detection algorithms leveraging historical transactional data on Credit products
