Romayne Rab

Romayne Rab is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Design Researcher with a keen interest in the human mind and the impact of technology on mental health.

As the Co-chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Digital Special Interest Group and a Clinical Research Fellow at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), Romayne is actively involved in advancing mental health research.

With a diverse educational background that includes a Master's degree in Design Thinking and Innovation, Graphic Design studies, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Management with Medical Sciences, Romayne brings a unique perspective to the intersection of art, technology, and healthcare.

Having served as a Design Researcher and Creative Producer at Hyphen-Labs, an interdisciplinary team focusing on art and emerging technology, Romayne has honed skills in creativity, research, and innovation.

Romayne Rab's expertise lies in psychiatry, design research, digital health, art and technology, mental health advocacy, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
