Romain Huet

Romain Huet is the Head of Developer Experience at OpenAI, where he leads the team responsible for empowering developers to build applications using OpenAI's models and APIs.12 He joined OpenAI in September 2023 after previously serving as a Product Lead at Stripe and working on the developer platform at Twitter.1

Huet has a diverse background in technology, having co-founded Jolicloud, a free operating system designed to work on low-cost computers and connect them to the cloud.1 He also worked as a software engineer at Netvibes, where he pioneered Facebook API development and helped create UWA, an open-source JavaScript engine for running Netvibes apps.1

In addition to his work at OpenAI, Huet is an angel investor and advisor, having invested through First Round Capital's Angel Track program and advised companies like Uniswap Labs.1 He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Rennes in France and is fluent in English and French.1
