Roland Gunnesch

Roland Gunnesch is a highly accomplished architect and designer with a strong educational background in architecture and environmental design.

He holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Environmental Design of Buildings from Cardiff University, where he graduated with Distinction. Additionally, he earned a Diplom-Ingenieur (Dipl.-Ing.) in Architecture from Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, receiving an Outstanding Award for his academic achievements.

Roland currently serves as the Senior Designer, Senior Associate, and Design Resilience Asia Regional Leader at Gensler, a prestigious design firm known for its innovative projects. Prior to his role at Gensler, he held positions as a Senior Architect and Associate at BAU Brearley Architects + Urbanists, as well as roles at Royal HaskoningDHV, SUNYAT ARCHITECTURE 上海三益建筑设计有限公司, and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) where he worked as a Research Associate.
