Rohit Dhawan

Dr. Rohit Dhawan is an analytics and transformation specialist with a background in Forecasting/Machine Learning, holding a PhD in the field. Currently serving as the Analytics Platform Strategy - APAC Regional Lead at Amazon Web Services (AWS), he has a strong expertise in leveraging data and artificial intelligence to drive business success.

With a vast experience that includes roles such as Professional Services - Data, Analytics & AI Transformation Leader at AWS, Consulting Director at Accenture AI, and several other prominent positions in the industry, Dr. Dhawan excels in areas like Analytical Marketing, Customer Engagement, Operations and Supply Chain Optimization, Retail and CPG enablement, as well as developing analytics strategies and data operating models.

Having pursued his education internationally, he studied Bachelor of Information Technology at the University of Delhi, followed by a Master's and PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Forecasting at the University of Sydney. Dr. Dhawan's professional journey has taken him through various esteemed organizations like Deloitte Australia, SAS, IBM, and the University of Sydney.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Dhawan is engaged in academia as a guest lecturer at universities and a presenter at industry events. Born in India and later moving to Australia for higher education, he is currently based in Singapore. A dedicated family man, he enjoys spending quality time with his children Arjun and Meesha, while also pursuing his passion for Crossfit.
