Rohini Chakravarthy

Rohini Chakravarthy has over 15 years of experience in venture investment with a technology background spanning over two decades. She is a general partner at NGP Capital, where she leads Intelligent Enterprise investments. Chakravarthy was previously an investing partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), where she led software, systems and technology investments and sat on 13 boards, nurturing several companies to successful exits. She also held investment and corporate development leadership roles at Intel Capital and Cisco, was the co-founder and CEO of Inksedge, and started her career as a design engineer at Bay Networks. Chakravarthy received an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an MS from Case Western Reserve University, and a B.Tech from IIT Madras.

As a board member of the IITM Foundation and a Dean's Circle member at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Chakravarthy is deeply involved in alumni giving. Her expertise is in venture investment, corporate development, software, systems and technology investments, and design engineering. Chakravarthy's interests include intelligent enterprise investments, startups, alumni giving, and technology.
