Rogayeh Tabrizi, PhD

Dr. Rogayeh Tabrizi is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse background in experimental particle physics, economics, and data science.

Her academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Simon Fraser University, an MSc in Experimental Particle Physics from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Sharif University of Technology.

Rogayeh's passion for understanding connections and behavioral patterns led her to work on the ATLAS Detector at CERN and delve into game theory and social networks.

Driven by her desire to create positive change, she co-founded Theory & Practice, leveraging her unique blend of skills in physics, economics, and data analysis.

Beyond her entrepreneurial ventures, Rogayeh is deeply committed to social good, having collaborated with non-profit organizations like Engineers Without Borders and serving as a trusted advisor for Impacton and RightMesh.

Her professional experience spans across various roles, including Director at International Women's Forum, Chief Executive Officer at Theory+Practice, and positions in data science at Synereo LTD and Hootsuite.
