Rodrigo Baggio

Rodrigo Baggio is a Brazilian social entrepreneur and the founder of the Center for Digital Inclusion (CDI). He was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1968 and grew up in a low-income community. In the early 1990s, Baggio was working in advertising when he decided to use his skills and experience to help marginalized communities gain access to technology and information. In 1995, he founded CDI, which has since become one of the world's largest technology-based educational organizations.

Under Baggio's leadership, CDI has impacted more than 2 million people in Brazil and over 10 million in other countries, providing digital literacy training, community-led development programs, and entrepreneurship opportunities. He has been recognized internationally for his work and has received numerous awards, including the Ashoka Fellowship and the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship.

Baggio continues to be an active advocate for digital inclusion and social innovation, promoting the use of technology as a tool for sustainable development and social change. He also serves as a consultant for international organizations and governments, collaborating with them to design effective strategies and policies for digital inclusion.
