Rodney Stearns

Rodney Stearns is a father, app designer, and former member of the U.S. military living in Denver, Colorado. He has dedicated his career to preventing impaired and distracted driving accidents, drawing inspiration from his son Devyn and his time as an EMT in Los Angeles. Rodney's passion for this cause led him to create several innovative apps, including DzigN8 in memory of Tessa Conradi, who tragically lost her life to a drunk driver. This eventually led to CheckBAC Business, a platform designed to help companies manage their employees' driving safety.

Rodney's professional career began when he joined the U.S. military, where he served for nine years as an Army medic and Navy Hospital Corpsman. He continued his medical education at the U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman School and later worked as an EMT in Los Angeles for nine years. During this time, he witnessed the devastating consequences of impaired and distracted driving firsthand, which motivated him to make a positive change in his community.

Today, Rodney is the President and Founder of Driven By Safety Inc. and has previously served as the President and Founder of Text No More LLC. He is an expert in app design, driving safety, and emergency medical services. Rodney's passion for road safety and his unique background make him a valuable resource for anyone looking to address the issue of impaired and distracted driving.
