Rodger Lentz, AICP is an accomplished professional in the field of urban and regional planning with extensive experience and a strong educational background.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from UNC Greensboro, a Master's in Geography specializing in Urban and Regional Planning from UNC Charlotte, and has also studied Municipal and County Administration at UNC Chapel Hill - School of Government.

Currently, Rodger serves as the Chief Planning and Development Officer at the City of Wilson, demonstrating his leadership and strategic planning skills.

His past roles include serving on the Board of Directors for Region II at the American Planning Association and acting as the President of the North Carolina Chapter of the American Planning Association, showcasing his commitment to professional development and industry involvement.

With previous positions such as Director of Planning and Development Services at the City of Wilson, Planning Program Manager at the City of Charlotte, Planning Manager at Cabarrus County Government, and Assistant Planner at the Town of Matthews, Rodger has acquired a diverse skill set and a broad understanding of planning practices at various levels of government.
