Roderick Wang

Roderick Wang is an innovation enthusiast and a liberal arts education advocate who co-founded the first entrepreneurship club at Whitman College, the Whitman Innovation Network (WIN). Along with his team, he made WIN one of the fastest-growing student groups on campus and initiated a strategic merger with Computer Science@Whitman (CS@W) in September 2018. Wang has also worked with a group of student innovators to design and build the first business/technology incubator at Whitman College. Additionally, Wang is passionate about fitness and bodybuilding.
Wang holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Whitman College and has also studied French Language and Literature at Middlebury College. He has an extensive background in various organizations like Crimson Capital, where he worked as a research analyst, and ZheShang Asset Management, where he was a strategic development & investment intern. Wang also served as senior fund chair for events at Whitman College, investment banking intern at ZheShang Securities Co. Ltd., international student services intern, future alumni leadership council, international orientation assistant, and TOEFL teaching fellow at New Oriental Education & Technology Group.
