Roderick Villevoye is the owner of OpenCeilings, a company that aims to revolutionize traditional dropped/suspended ceilings by using illuminated photopanels to create a 'skylight' effect indoors, bringing the beauty of the outdoors inside.

OpenCeilings not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces but also have a positive impact on the psychological well-being of individuals using them. In environments like hospitals, they contribute to the creation of Healing Environments by promoting relaxation, stress reduction, and providing distraction during medical procedures.

The innovative lighting used in OpenCeilings, similar to those used to treat Seasonal Affective Disorder, can uplift mood, increase alertness, and boost productivity in office settings, transforming workspaces into more vibrant and energetic places.

Roderick Villevoye pursued his education by completing an International Baccalaureate at St Clare's College Oxford and obtaining a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance & Investments from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
