Roddy Awad

Roddy Awad, a seasoned professional with experience from Fortune 100 companies, is the co-founder of TKS, a Customer Experience oriented insurance tech firm, established in 2007. TKS later became a part of Assumption Mutual Life in 2017, maintaining its focus on serving clients in the insurance and financial sectors.

Passionate about insurance technology and business strategy, Roddy prioritizes customer growth. He actively engages in the community by backing local startups, mentoring, and upholding a commitment to continuous learning.

Roddy's involvement extends to various leadership roles - including being the former Chair of TechImpact, an association dedicated to IT development in Atlantic Canada, and the former Chair of Venn, an Innovation Hub in New Brunswick. Currently, he serves on the board of CHUDumont Hospital Foundation in Moncton. Furthermore, Roddy is the co-creator of Maple Summit, an event catering to founders who enjoy back-country skiing and snowboarding.

On the education front, Roddy Awad pursued studies at the Information Technology Institute and Dalhousie University.
