    Prior to his current role, Rod served as the Vice President of Supplier Inclusion & Sustainability at Coupa Software. Before that, he founded and led ConnXus, Inc., a successful cloud procurement platform, from inception to acquisition by Coupa.

    Rod's professional journey includes over 25 years of experience as a Chief Procurement Officer for a Fortune 1000 Telecom company and as a procurement expert in global consultancies such as Kearney, Diamond Partners, and Accenture. His strategic sourcing expertise has led to significant cost savings for multinational clients.

    Rod is an alumnus of West Virginia University Institute of Technology, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his MBA. He was recognized as an Entrepreneur of the Year finalist by Ernst & Young in 2012.

    In addition to his corporate roles, Rod is actively involved in several organizations. He has served as an advisory board member for the Techstars Foundation and was appointed to Miami University’s board of trustees by Ohio Governor John Kasich. Rod also contributes as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship at Miami.
