Rochelle Prasad

Rochelle Prasad is an internationally recognized leader and educator known for her work in empowering the youth through her Non-Profit organization, SPARK Foundation.

With over 7 years of experience in startup environments, community engagement, policy making, and project management, Rochelle has made significant contributions to building sustainable communities.

Apart from her nonprofit work, Rochelle is also a committee member at the City of Surrey, where she actively participates in shaping policies related to quality of life, public safety, and community engagement.

Her accolades include awards such as the Princess Diana Award 2020, Canada 150 award in leadership, Surrey Board of Trade Top 25 Under 25 2018, and the Governor General Sovereignty Award.

Rochelle is an advocate for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly focusing on goals 4, 11, 13, and 17 in her various projects and community engagement initiatives.

She holds degrees including a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Curriculum and Instruction and Social Justice in Education, a Master of Education in Social Justice, and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education and Teaching.
