Rochel Daniels
Director of Communications and Leadership Development at North Kansas City Schools
Dr. Rochel Daniels is the Superintendent of North Kansas City Schools, a role she began in January 2024 after serving the district for 24 years in various capacities. Her previous positions include Chief of Staff, Assistant Superintendent of Organizational Development and Innovative Programming, and Director of Curriculum and Professional Development. She has also worked as a high school social studies teacher within the district.123
Dr. Daniels holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies and Spanish from Missouri State University, a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Park University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Saint Louis University. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in leadership development, communications, strategic planning, and implementing initiatives to support students and staff. She has also led successful bond campaigns and redefined district boundaries to streamline feeder patterns for high schools.23
Her connection to education is deeply personal, as her family has long been involved in teaching within the district. Dr. Daniels is passionate about public education and fostering student success.12
