    She holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University, a BA in English Literature with minors in Sociology and Art History from the University of Arizona, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Education Policy and Organizational Learning at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
