Robyn Beckwith

Robyn Beckwith is a dedicated professional with a background in molecular mechanisms and biochemistry of macromolecular protein complexes. Her expertise includes protein engineering, purification, and characterization, as well as PCR, mutagenesis, gene fusions, biochemical assays, enzyme kinetics, and structural analysis.

Robyn completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular & Cellular Biology with a focus on Biochemistry, Biophysics & Structural Biology, and Chemical Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She also holds a BS in Molecular & Cellular Biology specializing in Biochemistry from the University of California, Davis.

With a wealth of experience, Robyn has held various roles in prestigious organizations. She currently serves as the Director of Quality at Nutcracker Therapeutics and has previously been the Head of Quality at the same company. Prior to this, she worked as a Scientist in Technical Development at Genentech, where she also held the position of Associate Scientist. Robyn's earlier experience includes working as a Scientist specializing in Assay Development and General Chemistry at Theranos. She has also contributed to academia as a Graduate Student Instructor and PhD Candidate at UC Berkeley, as well as a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, San Francisco.

Robyn's journey began with roles such as Quality Control Analyst at Baxter International Inc., Advanced Undergraduate Researcher, and Student Researcher at the California National Primate Research Center at UC Davis. Her diverse experience showcases her versatile skill set and commitment to the field of molecular biology and biochemistry.
