Rob Kniaz

Rob Kniaz is an American venture capitalist based in London, known for his significant contributions to the European tech investment landscape. He is a founding partner of H-Tree Capital, a venture capital firm that focuses on deep tech and healthcare investments, which he co-founded in 2023. Prior to this, he was a partner at Hoxton Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm he co-founded in 2013, which has invested in notable startups such as Deliveroo and Darktrace.124

Kniaz has an educational background in computer science, having graduated from the University of Maryland in 2001. He began his career at Intel as a market development manager and later worked at Google as a product manager, where he played a key role in developing advertising technologies.145 His expertise in venture capital is complemented by his involvement on the boards of various companies, including Preply, FabricNano, and Spacelift, where he serves as a member of the board of directors.23
