Robin Park

Robin Park, a junior studying Economics at the prestigious University of California, Berkeley, is a passionate and resourceful individual who aims to contribute to developing countries, especially those in Southeast Asia. Robin switched from majoring in Nutritional Sciences to Economics in pursuit of better supporting his passion in public finance and fixed-income investments. He has professional experience in a variety of organizations, including director of finance at Asian American Association, security monitor at UC Berkeley, math tutor at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center, and private catering at Self-Employed.

Throughout Robin's second year at the university of California, he helped in missions trips to Cambodia and Thailand, which allowed him to realize that the significant struggles of these countries were due to a lack of efficient infrastructure, financial knowledge and access, and government support. Hence, Robin determined that working in finance would be the best way to make a real difference. While he has no professional experience in finance, he seeks out opportunities to learn and gain more knowledge.
