Robin Kim, Co-Founder of Gallery Labs

Robin Kim is the Co-Founder of Gallery Labs, a company building a home for digital collectibles.12345 Based in New York City, Kim brings experience from previous roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Coinbase and Software Engineer at IrisVR.134

Kim graduated from New York University with a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics.1 He is proficient in English, Korean, and Spanish.1

Prior to co-founding Gallery Labs, Kim held the following positions:

• Senior Software Engineer at Coinbase from August 2020 to December 2021, where he was a tech lead for Advanced Trading, Coinbase Card, and Coinbase Wallet1
• Software Engineer at Coinbase from July 2019 to August 2020, working on Coinbase Pro1
• Instructor at Fullstack Academy from October 2018 to March 2021, teaching evening and weekend classes for aspiring developers1
• Software Engineer at IrisVR from February 2017 to February 2019, where he oversaw the development of cloud-based filesystem for uploading and managing 3D models, developed Nucleus (a Go library for core utilities), and helped recruit and hire new talent1
• Fullstack Engineer at IrisVR from October 2015 to February 2017, porting an Angular-based web app to React + Redux and implementing backend apps using Node.js + Docker1

Kim was also a Faculty member at Phillips Exeter Academy Summer School in 2014, where he developed and led an accelerated Global Economics course for high school students from 50+ countries.1
