Working with companies and non-profits to engage with core audiences using a variety of marketing communications strategies. I currently work independently with multiple clients in all areas of marketing communications. In this role, I focus heavily on writing and public relations outreach. My clients span public companies, multinationals, and startups.

Marketing Communications Consultant

For A+P, I managed multiple client teams of up to 20 professionals to execute integrated marketing communications campaigns for clients. I created and implemented proactive activities that met client’s core goals whether that was to reach constituents, increase revenue, secure funding, build a stronger brand image or break into new markets. Under my direction, my teams and I secured major business and broadcast media coverage, instituted rapid response programs, implemented social media programs for major companies and rebranded a number of organizations, both large and small. In this role, I had a particular focus on thought leadership and issue campaign management in which I developed talking points, speeches and OpEds and secured and supported speaking and media opportunities.

As a boutique marketing communications agency, I worked hands on with clients and teams to product great media and marketing results. My work centered around companies at a unique inflection point, looking to breakout through communications. This included numerous startup companies, venture capital firms, energy companies, tech firms and not for profits. My role included team and budget management, and key elements of communications such as content development, social media, website development, media relations, strategic planning and executive thought leadership.

Being part of a small team, my communications role spanned many levels. At a strategic level, my colleagues and I set direction for the association and developed its core mission. I presented reports to the Board of Directors on a semi-annual basis and the Executive Committee quarterly.  My work at NAIMA encompassed all areas of integrated communications, including the execution of a national PSA campaign with multiple partners. I maintained our required health and safety communications campaigns, along with managing multiple member committees. I supported our government and advocacy campaigns which led to a successful passage of Federal and state legislation and building and energy codes that helped grow our members’ market opportunities. Over the time I was there, I helped our organization communicate more effectively about environmental and sustainability issues through international and national partnerships and layered in messaging about the positive impact on public health that came from proper levels of insulation.
