Roberto Catanzaro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, marketing, sales, and digital transformation.

As the Director for Business Development at Nexi, Roberto manages key strategic projects and drives innovation within the organization.

With a background in chemical engineering, Roberto started his career in consulting at Accenture and McKinsey, focusing on CRM, marketing, and sales for financial services.

During his tenure at Allianz Italy, Roberto held various management positions, leading digital transformation initiatives like front-office platforms, CRM systems, and e-business platforms at a European level.

Roberto's journey with Nexi began in 2014 as the Marketing Director, gradually taking on roles such as Chairman of the Board and Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer.

Beyond his professional achievements, Roberto enjoys cooking, wine tasting, swimming, cycling, running, and Crossfit. He is also a certified scuba diving instructor and has a keen interest in strategy games, military history, and geopolitics.

Roberto is based in Milan with his family and values his time spent with his wife Daniela, their daughter Vittoria, and their cat Belushi.

Education-wise, Roberto completed his Diploma at Liceo Classico G.B Impallomeni and pursued a Laurea in Chemical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
