Throughout his career, Roberto Benes has held several key roles within UNICEF, including Director, Generation Unlimited, where he focused on empowering young people, and Representative in both Argentina and Mongolia, overseeing UNICEF's operations in these regions.

Roberto Benes also served as a Regional Adviser in Social Policy for the Middle East and North Africa at UNICEF's regional office in Amman, Jordan, showcasing his expertise in policy development and implementation.
