Roberta Mallia

Roberta Mallia is an Open Innovation and startup specialist with a strong background in developing and managing innovation and startup programs across various industries. She has been active in this field since 2016 and is deeply passionate about emerging technologies and innovative business models. Roberta is known for being a hard worker, a fast learner, and someone who is enthusiastic about making a positive impact.

Roberta's educational journey has been extensive and diverse. She participated in an Exchange program at The Lincoln School and earned a Corporate Master's degree in Energy Business & Utilities from MIP Politecnico di Milano. Additionally, she completed Masterclasses in Digital Product Management and From Data to Decision at Talent Garden Innovation School. Roberta also holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Accounting, Financial Management and Control (AFC) from Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi' and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics, Management, and Finance, specializing in Finance, with top honors at Università Commerciale 'Luigi Bocconi'. She further enriched her education through an Exchange program at Emory University - Goizueta Business School and graduated with top marks from Scientific high school 'Matteo Raeli'.

Throughout her career, Roberta Mallia has been associated with prominent organizations in various roles. She currently serves in the capacity of Open Innovation & Venture Capital at Edison SpA. Previously, she held roles such as 101er at La Carica delle 101, Jury member, and Startup Mentor at Startcup Emilia Romagna, as well as Startup Mentor at Share Your Talent. Roberta also contributed her expertise as the Corporate Projects Development Leader and Startup Business Analyst & Project Coordinator at PoliHub - Innovation District & Startup Accelerator. Her early professional experiences include being an Incubation Intern at Impact Hub Milano, an Audit Intern at Deloitte, and the Financial Director (and co-founder) at 180 Degrees Consulting.
