    Roberta Giordano, originally from Rome, Italy, has dedicated her career to grassroots organizing in social and climate justice causes. She has actively worked towards environmental justice issues, particularly focusing on youth engagement in California over the past 5 years.

    Roberta's notable accomplishments include overseeing the recruitment of 200 youth for PowerShift 2013, a national conference in Pittsburgh, and leading the organization of a large statewide convergence in 2013 to address climate change.

    With a background in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and Environmental Studies from Santa Monica College, Roberta has been involved in various organizations such as The Sunrise Project, Amazon Watch, Bioneers, and the Student Environmental Resource Center at UCB.

    Her roles have ranged from Senior Strategist to Development Associate, showcasing her versatility and expertise in fundraising, finance campaigning, and youth leadership program coordination.

    Roberta is a co-founder of the Student Environmental Resource Center at UCB and Students Against Fracking. She aims to transition the current economic system to a sustainable one. She co-founded the Resilience Collaborative, a strategic consultancy and innovation firm, and is actively engaged in legislative advocacy to address environmental issues in California.
