    Dr. Robert Wagner is a seasoned family physician with extensive experience in family medicine and adult developmental disabilities.

    He completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Minnesota Medical School and his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Marine Biology and Applied Zoology at Bangor University.

    With over nineteen years of practice, Dr. Wagner served as a family physician and later transitioned to work as a faculty member for the family medicine residency program for eleven years.

    From 2006 until his retirement in July 2018, he dedicated his expertise to working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at Gillette Lifetime Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minnesota.

    Dr. Wagner has a keen interest in adult developmental medicine and continues to advocate for its importance in clinical practice and education for family physicians and other healthcare professionals.

    He previously held key positions at Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare, serving as the Chief of Staff and as the Associate Medical Director for Adult Services.

    Dr. Wagner also contributed to the medical community as the Associate Chair of the Department of Family Practice at HealthPartners.

    His diverse background in family medicine, academic contributions, and specialized work with developmental disabilities position him as a respected authority in the field.
